"Why are we meant to live in the light and not creep in the dark?"
"Well, I think the light needs us. If it wasn't for us, it would have less of a purpose. I think it loves tickling our noses, warming our cheeks and giving a dry spot to soak up our tears. It probably looks forward to showing us the magic of light fairies, rainbows and the splendor of our shadows at high noon."
"But what about the moon? Doesn't he need us?"
"No, he is just the sun's mirror, a way for the light to guide our dreams and watch over us as we sleep."
"That's pretty sneaky of the sun."
"Actually, it's very responsible. If it wasn't for him and his pull, I heard we'd fall of Earth's edge."
"Oh, well thank you Mr. Sun!"
