So Phillip, whatcha' thinkin' about?
Oh, a pig in a blanket!
Being the best friend that she is, Marble wanted to surprise Phillip with a food choice she wasn't even aware he knew about. Well, whatever, she knew he was a smart bear and he always seemed to know what he was talking about so she went right to work.
Marble used her grandma Charlotte's recipe. It was a quick one, took very little time to prepare. Grandma Charlotte suffered from narcolepsy and any activity taking longer than 5 minutes, well, she'd fall asleep right in the middle of doing it. Marble didn't rush though. She wanted this snack to be just perfect.
Marble sure hoped that her mother bought pork dogs rather than beef, because then it would be more like cow in a blanket rather than pig.
Maybe bears can't taste the difference.
The pigs were tucked in and ready to cook.
Ding! Five minutes and they were done (grandma Charlotte's perfect cook time).
Marble walked in proud to serve her best friend his favorite treat, but from his reaction, he somehow must have known the meat was beef. Sorry Phillip!
I love this, Jodie! For a minute as I was slowly scrolling down through your beautiful pictures, I thought there was going to be an Amelia Bedelia moment with a pink plastic pig wrapped up!! This was such a cute post and I really enjoyed it. Thank you so much for sharing your awesome creativity with us!
