Limon and a story I wrote about the importance of giving love away
Limon Lived in the forest
A gray and white forest
Amongst
The pushing grass
The tipsy trees
and
The pulling skies
She was a girl of a sort
With parents
One of each
A mum and a pa
This forest was different
Than she
It gave nothing
Yet took everything
Being a greedy forest
As it was
It even held back
Its color
From the eyes of man
But Limon knew
No different
Limon loved and
She loved
Because love
Is all that she knew
Her parents had taught her
and
She practiced
Soon her ability to love
Became bigger than she
So she had to let
Some go
Everywhere she went
She gave some away
Never discriminating
The deserving against
Those of less
Everyone was equal
Everyone the same
Whether it be a weed
or a sullen daisy
Limon continued to give and this giving
Breathed color
Into the shades of gray
Which never
Were without
Again
And so this day
The age of fade
That had infected the forest
So many years past
Was healed
By one heart
By one angel
Of a sort
